We honour the dignity and uniqueness of each person through our core values of _Care, Connection _and_ Excellence._ **What we are hiring for**: We are currently hiring a **Direct Support Professional - Nights **for a **Full-Time** Contract **for our support location in Forest Direct Support Professionals make a difference in people's lives by: - Providing support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and the community - Teaching and assisting with daily supports (ex. assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication administration, appointments, housekeeping responsibilities and money management) - Facilitating opportunities for individual skill development, independence, personal growth, cultivating relationships in their community and leisure activities as directed by the person **What you will need**: - Experience working with people with developmental disabilities an asset - Valid "G or G2" class license and reliable vehicle - Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check - Be legally entitled to work in Canada - Current certification in First Aid/CPR required - Current certification in NVCPI or willing to obtain **Compensation and scheduling**: - $22.27 - $22.93 per hour based on experience - Scheduled 40 hours per week - Awake Nights - Contract duration: Approx. 6 months **Benefits LCDS Employees may be eligible for**: - Group Pension Plan with Employer Contribution Matching - Employee Assistance Program - Corporate Retail, Mobility and Entertainment Discounts - Training and Development Opportunities **About LCDS**: Lambton County Developmental Services started back in 1955 when a group of parents whose children had developmental disabilities came together while dreaming of a life without limitation for their loved ones.
