**Miller Waste Systems is an ESSENTIAL SERVICE PROVIDER**

**Title**: Office Supervisor

**Location**: Pickering

**Shift**: Monday -Friday, Saturdays and after hours may be required

**Pay Rate**: 60,000/year

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of Office Supervisor your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Provide supervision to administration staff, scheduling, assigning, and monitoring workflow while providing guidance and motivation to staff.
- Interview, hire and provide training for new staff members.
- Provide administration, dispatch, billing and scale support within the division.
- Answer customer issues, respond to inquiries from the public and maintain positive

customer relationship.
- Payroll entries and submission such as vacation pay, boot refund or sick day request.
- Administering all Municipal Billing, review un-billed revenue reports for accuracy and order

office supplies for the Durham Division.
- Accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Handling Metal and OCC Rebates as well as coordinating end market shipping orders.
- Cash, Cheque, Petty Cash account balancing.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a computerized environment and must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook with exceptional organizational, and time management skills.
- Supervisor, Dispatch, and previous Billing experience is considered an asset for this

position.
- Experience in meeting deadlines with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and

stressful conditions.

Excellent written, oral, and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility with hours is a must.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites, must have reliable transportation.
