Located on the scenic waterfront in North Vancouver, Bodwell High School is a university-preparatory boarding and day school for Grades 8-12. **About the Role**

As our Student Recruitment & Enrolment Specialist (Local & Domestic Focus), you will be a key connector between Bodwell and Canadian/American families. You’ll lead local outreach, build strong relationships with school and community partners, and help guide students and parents through the admissions journey.

If you're someone who sees recruitment not just as a numbers game, but as a meaningful matchmaking process—bringing the right students into the right environment—this role is for you. Reporting to the Head of School and working closely with other Recruitment Team and Media Team members, you will take an important role in leading local outreach and enrolment efforts.

**Key Responsibilities**

Strategy & Market Insight
- Conduct research on enrolment trends, independent school norms, and family decision-making cycles in BC and across Canada.
- Help refine messaging and positioning to align with local values: academic rigour, student support, global readiness.

Outreach & Community Building
- Lead recruitment across Metro Vancouver and broader domestic markets.
- Build partnerships with elementary and middle schools, community groups, consultants, and current and alumni families.
- Represent Bodwell at local and national education events, school fairs, and expos.

Campus & Student Experience
- Plan and deliver memorable admissions tours, open houses, and student shadow days.
- Launch and coordinate youth programs and campus-based events that invite local families into Bodwell’s unique environment (e.g. afterschool clubs, facility rentals, community visits).

Communications & Campaigns
- Collaborate with our in-house media team to create targeted print, video, and digital content.
- Help develop campaigns and storytelling that reflect the promise and transformation of a Bodwell education.

Data & Performance
- Provide actionable insights to the admissions and leadership team on engagement trends and recruitment performance.

Your Strengths & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3+ years in recruitment, admissions, school engagement, or a client-facing outreach role.
- A natural communicator—warm, thoughtful, and persuasive—with strong presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with project management skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with independent schools and the BC or Canadian education landscape is a strong asset, along with deep ties to the North Shore and Metro Vancouver community.
- Experience with CRM platforms and digital engagement tools is preferred.
- Fluency in a second (or third) language is also a common feature of Bodwell staff.
- Willingness to travel within Canada/USA.
