Our Service Centre in Scarborough currently has the following opportunity**:Collections/Accounting Support Specialist**

**This position will report to the Manager of Accounting.**

Duties and Responsibilities for the Collections/ Accounting Support Specialists may include (but are not limited to):

- Manages Accounts Receivable in its entirety, achieve DSO objectives and keep within company targets
- Review accounts for past due payments and determine and execute next steps to resolve and move forward
- Provide exceptional client and account relations while keeping focused on the required tasks - this includes internal communication with various departments
- Additional tasks as they come up to ensure the smooth running of AR for the company

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma, College diploma with a focus on accounting would be preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable and collections (Full Cycle AR)
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in a high-volume transactional environment required
- A high degree of ownership and accountability, with the ability to multitask effectively and remain calm under pressure
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong technical skills with Excel, Word, and ERP experience
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software

**Benefits**:

- Base Salary: $40,000 - 47,000 (Commensurate with experience)
- Net Gain Bonus Program upon completion of probationary period (90 days)
