**ABOUT US**

**POSITION**

In this role, you will be the primary Solar Club customer care agent, assisting with all aspects of the Solar Club. As the first person our customers interact with, you’ll play a key role in shaping their experience. If you have a positive attitude, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for solar and renewable energy, please read on. _(Tentative end date: October 1, 2025)_

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide information and assistance to help customers sign up as Solar Club Members.
- Use your natural ability to connect and build rapport with various customers and provide advice to help them meet their changing needs.
- Use your sales and customer care expertise to retain customer accounts by explaining and introducing existing clients to new product offerings.
- Ensure every customer is a HAPPY CUSTOMER

**REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS**
- High School Diploma with at least one (1) year of experience in customer care, sales, the utilities industry, solar, renewables, or related fields.
- A passion for sustainability and clean energy, especially solar power.
- Having solar panels installed at home is preferred, or having a general understanding of the solar industry.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Proficient math skills with a focus on number facility and mathematical reasoning.
- Full professional English proficiency, both written and verbal.

**SKILLS**
- Excellent active listening skills and professional telephone manners.
- Ability to explain and relate industry knowledge to customers in a friendly and engaging way.
- Excellent organizational and self-management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willing to learn and adapt to new technology and software as it emerges.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven interpersonal and collaborative skills with an ability to work as part of a team in an open-concept office space.

**Job Type**: Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
