JOB SUMMARY:
This position is fulltime between our Langley and Coquitlam locations. 3 days at our Langley Location and 2 days at our Coquitlam location. (Part-time is also an option if you can only work 2-3 days per week)
The Social Worker holds a leadership position in the Park Place Home and takes a lead with the interdisciplinary team through all resident admission processes while also providing guidance and comfort to new residents and their families. Provides residents and their families with professional Social Work services by developing, implementing and monitoring programs which meet the social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual needs of the residents. Is the lead for the ethics program and annual surveys (family, resident and staff) Ensures a commitment to resident safety and to our culture of safety as per the Strategic Directions of Park Place Seniors Living.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or its equivalent from an accredited School of Social Work preferred.
Registered Social Worker
Social work experience working with seniors is preferred.
Fully Vaccinated required
**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
