The Manager, DEIB and Talent Acquisition plays a critical and integral role in supporting the ongoing development and implementation of our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) strategy and influences and leads our Talent Acquisition team to ensure we continue to find talented people to further enhance an inclusive workplace experience where all employees feel a sense of belonging and can thrive.

**KEY DELIVERABLES***:

- Support and continually evolve our organizational DEIB Strategy to meet and reflect the needs of our employees, our customers and the communities we live and operate our business in.
- Accountable to set clear objectives for DEIB Program; works alongside Executives and DEIB Committee, to establish or reinforce desired short and long term organizational outcomes, and measures of success.
- Responsibility to steer and empower DEIB Committee; mentors, interacts and provides consultative decision making that respects people while ensuring completion of activities.
- Practices intentional thought leadership and expertise; stays ahead of diversity-related issues, upcoming legislation and best practices. Takes initiative to partner with third-party consultant(s) and partners where required.
- Acts as internal Advisor for situations or initiatives requiring a diversity and inclusion lens, provide coaching, and support to applicable stakeholders.
- Partners with Learning and Development to acquire/develop training strategies that aid in a continuous knowledge and awareness, incorporating DEIB education for all roles.
- Establish benchmarks and metrics to ensure effectiveness of DEIB programming and Talent Acquisition efforts. Regularly analyze metrics and present findings and recommendations as appropriate to the VP, Human Resources and the Management team.
- Lead and inspire an engaged team of Talent Acquisition professionals on delivery of innovative recruitment practices and initiatives that reflect and advance our DEIB strategies.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED***:

- Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent practical experience in Human Resources, Equity studies or a related field. Specialized studies in Intercultural Communication or holding the designation of Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP) is an asset; as well as Change Management certifications.
- At least 5 years’ experience demonstrating the ability to turn strategic concepts into practical and meaningful action, specifically with experience managing innovative programs and services.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and/or DEIB roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of design and delivery of DEIB programs and initiatives and Talent Acquisition best practices.
- Ability to build influential and impactful relationships, internally and externally in order to lead and drive change.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, and ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience in influencing and leading cross-functional collaboration with senior leaders.
- Consultative skills to innovate/help internal clients change the lens on how we recruit.
- Demonstrate superior judgement, tact and diplomacy required to address sensitive topics and effectively manage relationships.
- A minimum of 3 years of people management experience.

The Manager, DEIB and Talent Acquisition reports into the Payworks office in Winnipeg, however has the option to work in the office or on a hybrid work model.
