With the Canadian head office in Edmonton, the company supports routine maintenance, turnarounds, and industrial capital projects by providing services including scaffolding and work access, insulation, fireproofing, and asbestos abatement, for general maintenance, construction, turnarounds, and shutdowns to western Canadian producers.

**Position Summary**:
Brock Canada is looking for an experienced Project Controls Analyst with a finance background and excels with Power BI.

**Primary Duties**:

- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support project controls activities.
- Analyze project data and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project data and ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Design and implement data models and transformations in Power BI to optimize data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Create automated data refresh schedules and ensure timely delivery of updated reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Provide expertise and guidance on Power BI best practices, data visualization techniques, and data governance standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project controls processes and procedures.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and prepare customized reports as requested by project managers and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within project controls using Power BI.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Power BI functionality and incorporate relevant features into project controls reporting.

**Minimum Required Qualifications**:

- Proficient in Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret project data.
- Experience in data modeling and transformation techniques within Power BI.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and ability to effectively communicate insights.
- Familiarity with project controls principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with Power BI advancements and industry trends.
- Knowledge in SAP Business One an asset
- Knowledge in SQL is an asset
