We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Finance Analyst (Treasury Services) to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Manager, Treasury Services, you will play a key role within the Corporate Banking function and will be responsible for the day-to-day cash management operations of the business that includes, supporting store opening, general foreign exchange, inter-company funding and loan management, relationship management with the financial institutions, wire/bill payments/ACH initiation, as well as all aspects of financial reporting for the Corporate Banking function.

You will be responsible for:
Treasury Management-
- Monitoring cheque fraud protection daily and action on the exceptions by the deadline.- Updating foreign exchange rates daily in Daily Cash Report.- Daily Cash Position reporting.- Verifying entries for accuracy; investigating and processing variances and posting of all exception entries.- Verifying payment files are received and processed by the bank.- Correcting bank files not received/sent or rejected by the bank.- Preparing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasts.- Processing wire and manual ACH payments, stop payments and administration and maintenance of all bank accounts and signing authorities.- Updating FX rates weekly within the ERP system as well as for the tills.- Preparing documentation for new bank account requests to various financial institutions.- Maintaining internal treasury policies and procedures to ensure information is up to date.- Analyzing bank and payment processing fees and keeping record of the fee statements.- Record keeping and journalizing of FX Spot and hedge transactions.- Creating and maintaining of wire and ACH templates.- Assisting with KYC documentation for various banks and financial institutions.- Assists with insurance cost allocation, budgeting, and account reconciliations.- Ad-hoc projects and support as needed.

Accounting- Preparing journal entries and bank reconciliations for treasury transactions.- Ensuring appropriate accounting and analysis of the impact of all Treasury transactions.- Creating and updating accounting policies and procedures for the Treasury Services department.- Tracking and maintaining the inter-company loan schedule for loan extensions, principal repayment, and interest - performing the accounting reconciliations.

You have:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Accounting and Corporate Banking role.- At minimum, enrollment, and completion of Core 1 in the CPA program (or equivalent).- Direct experience in Treasury Services.- Intermediate to Advance level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

- Organized, with solid time management skills and can effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working independently.- An excellent communicator with the ability to draft clear and concise written communications.- Analytical, with strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to develop creative and strategic solutions to issues.- Very detail oriented and dedicated to delivering quality work.

Compensation Details:
$70,110.00 - $87,638.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
