Warehouse Team Member

Duties will be assigned by the Warehouse Team Leader on a daily basis and may be delegated as needed to best suit business needs. Must be prepared for manual labour, long hours, early mornings, afternoon and weekend work.

**Duties include**:

- Perform Daily Vehicle and Safety Inspections.
- Wrap carts for delivery.
- Load/Unload containers by hand or Lift Truck.
- Load/Unload Roelands Plant Farms Trucks for delivery to and return from customers.
- Load/Unload chassis with required materials.
- Stock the warehouse with supplies from deliveries using Lift Truck.
- Organize and maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse.
- Prepare and clean trays for shipments.
- Prepare and clean and/or (dis)assemble carts for shipments.
- Transport carts between greenhouse and warehouse.
- Water mats and footbaths once or twice daily before employees enter.
- Assist with deep cleaning floors if needed.
- Clean dumpsters weekly.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**: This position requires heavy lifting, repetitive tasks requiring force, and long periods of standing. The greenhouse and warehouse are both hot and humid work settings. Personal Protective Equipment must be worn.

Steel-toe footwear is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
