Boscus Canada Inc is a well-established company in the lumber industry since 1981. We are looking for an **Inventory & Purchasing clerk** who will be at the **heart of our EWP Gatineau department.**

You will provide sales support by assisting the purchasing / sales EWP department. You will help with sales-related problems, enter new orders, track orders, and investigate any related purchasing/sales issues and provide exceptional customer service.

**Inventory & Purchasing**
- Work with EWP team to track our inventory positions and turns.
- Enter and proceed purchase orders to suppliers.
- Cross-check purchase order confirmations for accuracy
- Follow-up on expedition and delivery.

**RailCar and truck planning**
- Building car and truck diagrams to maximize our shipments from our suppliers
- Work with logistics to plan the loading of our multi drop shipments

**Sales order entry**
- Sending order confirmations to our customers
- Follow up with logistics for accurate delivery.
- Contact our customers with updates on order status and delivery.

**Knowledge, Skills and abilities**
- Accurate data entry
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented and able to analyze and assess a situation for the best outcome.
- Minimum of 2 years of office experience preferably from manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- High proficiency with MS Office environment
- Able to communicate effectively with internal staff and work in a team-focused environment.

Must be bilingual.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
