Responsibilities:

- Receive and analyze customer orders and determine the most efficient method of transportation
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule and track shipments
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues or concerns
- Enter data into the AS400 system accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with suppliers
- Utilize supply chain knowledge to optimize routing and minimize costs
- Assist in resolving any transportation-related problems or delays

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a dispatching role preferred
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar transportation management systems
- Knowledge of supply chain operations, including 3PL (third-party logistics)
- Ability to analyze freight data and make informed decisions
- Proficient in using phone systems and other communication tools
- Strong typing skills for accurate data entry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: $90,000.00 per year
