We at Baytech Plastics, an injection moulding manufacturer on the shores of Georgian Bay, are currently seeking qualified, high energy and self-motivated individuals for our Engineering Department.

We are currently looking for experienced Project Estimator. We offer a competitive starting rate, company paid benefits, pension plan and profit sharing

**Duties**

The Project Estimator reports to the Engineering Director and is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates in a highly competitive injection moulding industry. The individual works with Sales group to understand customers requests and quotes multi faceted projects using internal manufacturing standards and outside material/service costs.

**Skills, Experience and Education**

Technical Degree/Diploma from a University or college.

Minimum 3 years experience in injection moulding or manufacturing environment with focus on moulding, mould design, product assembly and finishing operations.

Strong math and analytical skills, capable of scientific calculations.

Ability to read and interpret customer CAD/drawings and specifications as inputs to the quoting process.

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, track progress of projects and stay on schedule. Strong planning and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal Communication.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel capabilities, CAD programs.
