The **Plant Manager**leads and oversees all operations at a composite & elevated tank manufacturing facility. This role will manage production staff and schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards to meet both customer requirements and company goals.
**Essential Functions**:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production targets and on‑time deliveries
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, cost controls, and production metrics
- Oversee safety, compliance (MOL, MOE), and environmental policies. Demonstrate safety excellence by leadership and build / foster safety focused culture
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma principles
- Supervise department leads within fabrication, welding, QA/QC, and maintenance ensuring all staffing and training needs are met
- Analyze performance data to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
- Manage capital equipment needs, maintenance planning, and inventory control
**Education**
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Operations Management or related
**Required Qualifications**
- 7-10+ years in manufacturing leadership, ideally composites or heavy fabrication
- Strong grasp of fabrication methods, safety regulations, ERP systems, Lean methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient grasp of concepts related to construction execution
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher
- Proficient organization skills and attention to detail
