**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate saw and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to cut asphalt as per project specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Monitor the cutting process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality control.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and report any malfunctions to supervisors.
- Help set up road closures to ensure safe work environment.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is a must.
- Familiarity with road construction is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety practices in an industrial environment.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Pay: $17.57-$25.00 per hour
