Business Need / Purpose of Role:
The Class 4 power engineer is responsible for operating autoclaves to ensure the efficient curing of the rubber products. Additionally, this role plays a crucial part in the timely and accurate movement, handling & staging of materials for the hose and rubber department.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Autoclave for rubber curing process.
- Complete and maintain autoclave records, logs and reports.
- Loading, unloading and handling of material (Mechanical & Manually handling)
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory locations and enforce strict quarantines and material hold points as needed.
- Assist in conducting frequent inventory counts and spot checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Cutting and measuring wood products for packaging using hand tools; saw, drill, air gun etc.
- Understand daily production needs and provide material in a timely manner
- As required, assist with receiving of inventory items into the computer database
- Proactively identify and address inventory-related problems and monitor stock levels for certain items.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

Education/Experience:

- Completion of High School diploma or equivalent.
- Class 4 Power Engineer certification is required.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience in construction is considered an asset for this role.
