Rodd Miramichi River is currently seeking a Cook to join our team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods for our Restaurant, 1809.
Essential Functions
- Prep and cooks required items in accordance with menu, using grill, ovens, and fryers
- Maintains continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
- Assists with culinary auditing, temperature checking of food items within kitchen, stations, fridge’s and freezers
- Adherence to Rodd's policies and procedures, including Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of line cook experience
- Working toward Red Seal considered an asset
- Valid WHMIS, Food Safe Advanced Certification, First Aid Certification considered an asset
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently, supervised and unsupervised
- Must be flexible, evening and weekend work

**Experience**:
- cooking: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
