Watch our ' Our Purpose' video Clark Builder’s is hiring an Injury Management Administrator to support our growing HSE team. This position will provide injury management support to the organization and to injured workers. Through dedicated coaching, communication and care, this person will effectively support the management of WCB Claims Costs, while ensuring injured workers are provided the care needed to return to regular and rewarding work activities. Reporting to: HSE Systems Lead Duties & Responsibilities: - Work directly with Project Management, Injured Workers, and Workforce Managers to actively manage injury claims in accordance with the Injury Management Standard- Responsible for the timely submission of WCB injury claims and the overall claims management process from time of incident, through to the closure of the WCB claim- Support field staff in the assignment of accurate occupational injury classifications, and entry of accurate Injury Management data into the CBGOC HSE data management system- Review all incoming WCB related materials and distribute to the appropriate departments as necessary- Support the execution of the CBGOC modified work and return to work programs- Correspond with Injured Employees at regular intervals to assist with and promote timely recovery, emphasizing active caring and resolving any concerns that are raised- Correspond with Occupational Injury Services (OIS) Clinics and physicians to facilitate initial post-injury and follow-up assessments- Manage and report on monthly Workers’ Compensation Board, trade partner and CBGOC statistical injury data- Track CBGOC injury data and generate reports on injury trends across the business- Assist in the development and facilitate formal Injury Management training programs- Provide current WCB Rate Statements and Clearance Letters for Prequalification and Bid submissions- Work with CBGOC HR Benefits Coordinator to support the various benefits programs available to injured workers- - Provide cross coverage for the Corporate HSE Administrator as required Skills & Knowledge: - Strong interpersonal skills- Strong oral and written communication skills- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills- Analytical and strategic thinker to effectively manage multiple tasks including workplace injuries, the modified work program, and WCB claims- A self-starter requiring mínimal supervision with the ability to multi-task and define priorities- Maintain privacy and confidentially with sensitive information- Aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail Qualifications & Experience: - 2+ years administrative experience- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Experience in the construction industry an asset- Health and Safety Administrator status from ACSA an asset What's in it for you?- Competitive salaries, vacation time and 4 personal days- Flexible work arrangements- "Summer Fridays" during July and August; all sites and offices close early- Performance and recognition programs, annual salary reviews and bonus opportunities- Comprehensive health and benefits plan available from the first day of employment provided by Manulife - i.e. $750 per paramedical annual coverage limits- Access to Manulife Vitality Group Benefits- Holistic Wellness Benefits Program including 6 sick days, as well as access to Inkblot Therapy, a virtual mental health platform.
