We are currently hiring experienced **Ironworkers with a focus on rebar** to support a range of commercial and residential construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for placing and securing steel reinforcement for concrete structures such as foundations, walls, columns, and slabs.This position requires a strong understanding of rebar installation techniques, blueprint reading, and the ability to work efficiently under site supervision. You’ll need to bring your own basic hand tools and CSA-approved steel-toed boots. PPE including a hard hat and high-vis vest will be provided.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cut, bend, tie, and place rebar according to drawings and specifications
Secure rebar using manual or powered rebar tying tools
Read and interpret structural and rebar placement drawings
Operate tools and equipment such as cutters, benders, and hoists
Maintain safe work practices and comply with all site safety protocols
Coordinate with site supervisors and trades to meet daily targets
Assist with rigging and hoisting rebar bundles as required
Ensure proper spacing, alignment, and placement of reinforcement

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **1-2 years of hands-on rebar experience**
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and structural layout
Comfortable working in fast-paced, physically demanding environments
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg)
Proficient in the use of rebar tools and general site equipment
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

**Work Conditions**:
This is a **full-time role**, typically Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm (40 hours/week). Job sites are located within the **Vancouver, Toronto, Victoria, and Kelowna** regions. Reliable transportation to and from sites is expected (most workers use public transit with ease).Overtime may be offered based on project needs and is paid according to provincial labour laws.**How to Apply**:
