**Full time position 40 hours/week**

Indochine is seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellent food and customer service to be Manager at our South Park Street location. This is a “hands on” position that includes being part of the day to day operation of the restaurant as well as management duties. Hours are primarily daytime (Monday-Friday) with occasional evening and weekend shifts)

Indochine Banh Mi is a small quick service restaurant specializing in fresh and healthy Vietnamese and Asian Fusion cuisine.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Establishing a friendly, efficient, positive culture for staff and customers
- Staffing the restaurant efficiently and economically
- Training staff to deliver high quality food products and customer service
- Directing staff in day-to-day operations
- Using strong time management skills and attention to detail to complete tasks
- Dealing with suppliers
- Assisting Prep Supervisor with inventory management
- Shopping as required
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant
- Troubleshooting and addressing issues as they arise
- Evaluating restaurant and staff performance
- Providing critical feedback and discipline when necessary
- All other duties as required

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
- A passion for high quality food
- Outstanding customer service skills including interaction & communication - communication is key, so you'll need to speak and write English well
- Ability to supervise 6-8 employees
- Ability to take instruction from owner
- Ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers and suppliers
- Ability to manage and inspire a team
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Strong problem solving skills - ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues when they arise
- Previous experience with scheduling, labour and product cost control, and inventory
- Ability to analyze basic financial reports
- Good mathematical skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for use of company vehicle)

**Salary**: $30,000.00-$35,000.00 per year
