Kinosoo Ridge

**Function**:
Reporting to the Guest Relations Lead, the Guest Relations & Sales Assistant will be the primary point of contact at Kinosoo Ridge Resort. This position requires creating a positive and personalized interaction with guests and co-workers, and to facilitate and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Answer guest inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Sell tickets, ski passes, and any other resort merchandise or ticketing.
- Prepare daily floats/cash outs/debit card transactions/reconciliations.
- Communicate with and provide support to the sales team, and other internal areas as required.
- Assist in the training of staff.
- Assist with social media posts and the Kinosoo Ridge website.
- Assist with promotions, marketing, events, and functions.
- Provide administrative support to other departments.
- Promote a fun, vibrant and positive environment, and work culture.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or certificate in hospitality management, tourism, business administration, or related discipline will be considered an asset.
- 1-2 years' experience with guest relations.
- Experience with retail and cash handling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs.
- Positive, proactive, professional, and friendly personality.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
- Proven ability to exercise good judgement and willing to serve as a role model.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision or in a team environment.
- Adapt to change and present solution to the workplace.
- Detail oriented and well organized.
- Advanced first aid will be considered an asset.
- Ski and snowboard experience will be considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license in good standing.
- Obtain a vulnerable sector check.

**Working Conditions**:

- High customer volume; required to work with customers of all levels.
- Length of day may vary depending on customer demands, project deadlines and seasonal patterns.
- This position requires working weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods (1.5 to 2 hours at a time).
