Construction Labourer

**Upland Contracting Ltd. is looking for construction labourers for projects located in Port Alberni, BC. Civil construction experience preferred. On the job training will be provided. Work hours expected to be between 40 to 50 hours per week.**

**Responsibilities**
- General civil construction activities working in a team environment
- Participation in all safety meetings and ensuring daily documentation of site conditions
- Physical labour including but not limited to shoveling, raking, demolition
- This position reports to the site foreman

**Experience**
- Previous construction experience preferred
- Safety tickets considered an asset

**Skills**
- Team worker
- Physically able to work in a construction environment
- Positive Attitude
- Bondable

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Alberni, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)
