**Position Summary**

As the Accounting Analyst, you will be working as part of a team that reports to the Accounting Manager.

**Major Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and posting accounts. receivable data.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Communicate with customers to address inquiries and resolve billing issues.
- Prepare month end journal entries for reporting purposes.
- Complete bank reconciliations on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Reconcile, explain and collaborate with finance team on balance sheet particulars.
- Cross train on health care billing and accounts payable processes to ensure continuity within the department and to assist when team members are absent or working on other finance tasks.
- Other duties as assigned by Accounting Manger to appropriately manage the financial and accounting division of our organization.

**Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge**:

- Ability to collaborate as a team member and work independently.
- Excellent time management and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated and goal orientated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Accounting degree/diploma or equivalent.
- Proven accounting experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Previous health care billing experience is an asset.
