Housekeeping Manager

**Job duties**:

- Maintain financial records and prepare budgets, payroll and employee schedules.
- Recruit and supervise all household staff. Managerial accountabilities include hiring, training, staff scheduling, performance management and terminations
- Organize and manage household inventories, closets and storage areas.
- Prepare and monitor establishment budgets and cost management
- Identifying maintenance and repair projects
- Establish relationships with various vendors & trades and spearhead negotiations for the provision of services, materials and supplies
- Scheduling and supervision of household installations, trades and vendors for interior & exterior and seasonal projects
- Liaise and maintain good communication and relations with residential tenants
- Calendar management, coordinate and assisting with event planning
- Assistance in the organization and service during private and social events
- Hands on care and organization for interiors as needed
- Meticulous meal preparation as needed for family style meals and directing table settings and service for principals & guests.
- Overall vehicle management and occasional driver duties
- Assist with security responsibilities of the residence, including monitoring of electronic security systems and follow up of any alarms that may arise while on duty
- Comfortable taking initiative and observing what additional tasks they may perform without instruction.
- Various additional household duties as required

**Requirements**:Completion of secondary school is a minimum requirement. A university degree, (includes education college diploma and/or certificates in accommodation or hotel management is an
and work experience) asset.
- 3+ years of experience required as housekeeping/accomodations manager; industry experience is preferred.

Examples of relevant previous experience may include (but not limited to): Housekeeping/Accomodation Manager, Housekeeper Supervisor, Private service experience for all elements of residential maintenance, culinary, food and beverage service, and household inventory management
- Experience supporting a high profile and net worth individual
- Experience working in a semi-formal style of residence or other accomodations establishments
- Applicants must be service oriented and self-starters.
- Flexibility in the working hours, according to the employer's needs
- Flexibility to work outside of strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide highest quality of service
- Food & beverage service skills and experience with large event planning an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills, priority management skills and attention to details
- Knowledgeable with practical handy man experience is an asset and management of trades & vendors.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
