- This position is responsible for performing as a lead Planner and Scheduler activities large mining projects.
- Major duties include for the Lead Senior Planner/ Scheduler:
- Develop totally integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules
- Work closely with various project stakeholders to collect input and seek feedback
- Perform what-if schedule scenarios, advanced schedule analysis, and variance analysis reports.
- Analyze variances in schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management
- Analyze schedules, review delays, propose schedule recovery alternatives and presents them to internal groups as well as the client
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fifteen (15) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Experience with engineering, procurement, and construction planning/scheduling for large mining or heavy industrial projects
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Possess practical experience in the use of automated schedule management systems
- Must have previous experience as a senior EPC scheduler on a large mining or heavy industrial project
- Must have experience as a Project Control Team Lead for a medium
- to large-sized project
