Job Description: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at the Saskatoon farmer's market. As a Barista, you will play a key role in providing exceptional coffee and customer service to market visitors. This position initially requires weekend availability Sat 7:30 am -2:30 pm, Sunday 9:30 am-3:30 pm, and Wednesday from 2:00 pm 7:00 pm (Summer only).

Notes:
1.Must have a car.

2.The working Location is at the Saskatoon farmer's market on the weekends and the interview is in the Main office at PakwaPL

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and drip coffee.
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take their orders, and ensure timely delivery of beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following health and safety guidelines.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Provide product information and answer customer inquiries about coffee blends, brewing methods, and ingredients.
- Uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive atmosphere for market visitors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service during busy market hours.
- Assist with setup and teardown of the coffee station, including equipment, supplies, and signage.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role is required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and specialty coffee beverages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer orders simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate order taking and preparation.
- Flexibility to work weekends and the potential to expand availability to weekdays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy equipment or supplies as needed.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Passion for coffee and enthusiasm to learn and grow in the field.
- Food handling certification (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus.

What will your day look like in general? More details will be provided later.

1. Go to the main office and pick up the needed stuff for the market.

2. Head to the farmers market and prepare for the day.

3. By the end of the day, do some cleaning and collect some items to bring them back to the main office.

4. Return to the main office and put the stuff back.
