Sales Estimator

**The Company**

Elevate Exterior Washing is a Victoria-based full-service residential-specialized washing business that provides personable, modern, and technology-driven services.

We strive to transform our client’s space into a beautifully washed project through industry-leading equipment and mastery of washing techniques.

The Estimator position is a **sales-oriented, technical **role. This is a **part-time or full-time**
position and appropriate for someone with **sales experience**.

**The Estimator needs to understand the service is needed by the homeowner so the sales part is showing why they should choose us over another company. It is not persuading a homeowner for a service that is not required.**

The Estimator will provide quotes to potential homeowners for washing services. The services we offer are roof moss removal, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and power washing areas like driveways. The quotes are provided based on the leads from the Marketing Representative.

★ The **sales part **of the position involves gauging interest from the homeowner to see what services are necessary and building the value of our company. Going over the benefits of the service, the high-quality standard of our Technicians, excellent communication and experience are some of the things the Estimator will discuss with the homeowner. Once the value is shown, the Estimator will do a sales close. Building value creates trust with the homeowner and shows we will do a good job.

★ The **technical part **of the position involves gathering numbers for quotes such as quantity count for windows, linear footage for gutters, and square footage for roof moss.

**What does a typical day look like?**

Estimator can walk between houses for the quotes. Quotes are completed in our project management software app called Jobber.

The Estimator can achieve sales through in-person quotes as discussed above or through

**re-engagement sales **through phone with our client list. Our client list includes homeowners we’ve done work for in previous years so seeing if they’d like the work done again and homeowners we’ve provided quotes to but haven’t proceeded with the work. If an Estimator has completed their in-person quotes for the day, they come back to the office to do re-engagement over the phone for the afternoon, for example. A typical re-engagement phone call includes reminding a client of the work we completed last February and seeing if they’d like the work done again this February.

**Skills Required**:

- Outstanding communication skills to build trust and rapport with homeowners
- Technical skills to create accurate, clear quotes
- Confidence in themselves and our company to achieve sales by closing

**Compensation**
- **The greater of $22 per hour or a 10% commission of their sales. The expectation is the right person for the Estimator role will be motivated to achieve commission through high sales numbers.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $29.10-$32.16 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
