As a Principal Analyst on our Power & Renewables Intelligence team, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of financial analysts, engineers, economists, data scientists, developers, and others in producing research for institutional investors and corporate clients. Collectively, you will work to both enhance our technology platform and leverage it to interact directly with clients and help answer some of the hardest questions facing industry and investors today.

**Performance Objectives**
- Communicate internally and externally, the intricacies of the insights obtained through data-analysis and simulations.
- Research and communicate to clients the intricacies of power markets and all the factors influencing power prices.
- Design, update, maintain and improve proprietary research models critical for formulating opinions on the futures state of power markets and power assets including our outlooks on all things critical for modeling power markets. These models support research publications and are integrated with Enverus’ proprietary technology platform, Enverus Prism.
- Aggregate and analyze large data sets to identify trends, characterize opportunities, build forecasts, and generate opinions on market activity, assets and companies.
- Participate in conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging Enverus Intelligence solutions to help answer some of today’s hardest questions in the energy industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, with a strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to analyze and concisely articulate complex ideas through writing and verbal presentations to a wide range of audiences.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering/Economics/Computer Science, or related field with an outstanding record of academic achievement and demonstrated aptitude for analytics.
- Deep understanding of power markets is critical to this role.
- Experience modelling power systems a plus.
- Experience using Python or advanced Excel skills is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize actionable analysis from large, dynamic data sets.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of power markets and the technologies and companies driving the energy transition and to become the leading expert in this field.
- Outstanding record of academic achievement and demonstrated aptitude for analytics.
- Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosity.
