**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's mental well-being.
- Help clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with dementia care by engaging them in meaningful activities that stimulate cognitive function.

**Skills**
- Experience in home care or senior care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques to support cognitive health.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the client's living space.
- Patience and adaptability to meet the varying needs of clients throughout the day.

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $24.20-$25.50 per hour
