- Understand all service lines of the company and maximize cross-sell.
- Understand market dynamics and keep the leadership advised of all market developments proactively.
- Always manage drivers proactively and cordially.
- Ensure all documents are received in a timely and efficient manner to process for load clearance.
- Engage the customer with utmost customer service and updated communication.
- Provide driver and customer support where required.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties of operations department along with customer relationship management.
- Be aware of all procedures and remain proactive.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfilment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs.
- Assist cutomers, clients and operations team to resolve complaints and provide the best solutions.
- Researching on vertical and geo locations to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Provide monthly reporting, projections and targets to the Director of Sales and operations head.
- Develop proposals in accordance with clients’ needs and expectations.
- Take ownership & Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual performance targets.
- Negotiating contracts and packages.
- Maintain all the necessary records for drivers and customs clearance and ensure all documents are in order with complete information.
- Communicate load information to drivers through mobile Express.
- Ensure that location of dispatched trucks and trailers is always known.
- Monitor loads in PCS and ensure that the loads are being updated by the driver.
- Escalate necessary repairs and driver’s needs including issuing T-Cheks for any lumpers, etc. to the 24/7 support.
- Notify operations team and customers about the relevant process/service details.
- Ensure orders entered in the system are complete with information, notify operations department of any short falls.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Solid negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Must possess a strong work ethic
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Self-Motivated, ambitious and results-driven
- High proficiency in MS Office Excel
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS B4H 3Y4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
