As the In-House Client Account Manager, you will work closely with the President to strengthen and expand relationships with Venture’s key accounts while ensuring seamless support for our sales and technical teams. Your role is to drive account growth, enhance client retention, and maximize sales opportunities through a strategic, relationship-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
- Key Account Growth & Relationship Management
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts to maximize revenue and ensure client retention.
- Implement strategic account management plans to identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Analyze sales data to uncover trends and develop strategies to maximize current account potential
- Sales & Lead Management
- Ensure all quotes and leads are actively followed up to drive conversion and sales growth.
- Oversee and support Account Executives in maintaining a regular outreach quota to keep the sales pipeline strong.
- Track and report sales performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business growth targets.
- Upselling, Cross-Selling & Channel Development
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts, such as hardware upgrades, complementary products, and add-ons.
- Leverage client relationships to proactively source new referrals and expand Venture’s client base.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Mentor and manage Venture’s Account Executives, ensuring they meet individual sales and outreach targets.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance the team’s relationship-building and sales execution skills.
- Monitor and assess team performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Client Retention & Engagement
- Implement and execute a structured client retention plan to enhance satisfaction and long-term commitment.
- Organize regular client check-ins, reviews, and business planning sessions to strengthen partnerships.
- Ensure that all client interactions align with Venture’s value proposition and growth objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
- 3-5 years proven sales and entrepreneurial experience in account management, business development, or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Can demonstrate past experience in managing and growing a book of key accounts
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in navigating multiple stakeholders across an organization.
- Friendly and personable demeanor, self-starter, responsible and who is punctual and reliable.
- Special skills - Negotiation, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Communication, Decision Making, Team Player and Organizational Commitment.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate decision-makers.
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, team members, and clients.
- You have a strong “never give up” and “do whatever it takes” attitude that allows you to see and create business opportunities.
- Strong issue management skills, with the ability to quickly and professional deal with contentious client related issues.
- A car and valid driver’s license.
- Desire to work in a small-team environment
- Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software and platform
- Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and may require limited evening or weekend work.
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
