Clean Streets Society is a start-up, non-profit organization committed to fostering cleaner, more connected communities. We offer low-barrier, environmentally-focused employment opportunities to engage local residents in hands-on efforts to maintain and improve public spaces, promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship. Our first cleanup crew will begin in Richmond this summer, with plans to expand to other municipalities in the future.

We're aiming to launch our first cleanup crew in Richmond this summer, with flexible start dates based on availability.

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our **Community Cleanup Crew**. As a crew member, you will play a vital role in maintaining public spaces across Richmond. The job will involve:

- Environmental cleanup tasks such as litter picking, green space maintenance, and beautification efforts
- Marketing and door-to-door sales to solicit donations that support our work

You’ll work as part of a supportive team that emphasizes community involvement, sustainability, and environmental impact. Crew members who demonstrate strong leadership, creativity, or specific skills will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and grow within the organization. These may include:

- Social media and digital marketing efforts to build awareness of our mission
- Fundraising and outreach to engage local businesses and supporters
- Event coordination for community cleanups and other public engagement activities

**Qualifications**:

- Passion for environmental sustainability and community engagement
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Prior experience in public space maintenance or community work is an asset, but not required
- We are particularly interested in applicants who are currently seeking employment, especially those without other job commitments
