Our family’s store began as an Italian meat market and deli offering the freshest cheeses, cold-cuts, and local, free range and organic meats butchered to order. We now have Cioffi’s Wholesale that supplies many of the top restaurants in Vancouver with these same fresh and delicious ingredients.

**Job Title: Butcher/Meat Cutter**

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize the cooler and ensure that all meat is properly stored and labeled
- Assist with grinding meat to prepare ground beef and sausage
- Bread cutlets and prepare other meat products as needed
- Serve customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Portion and package meat for sale
- Cut and prepare various cuts of meat for sale
- Keep work area clean and sanitized at all times
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Butcher or Manager

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a butcher shop or meat processing facility is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of meat cuts and meat preparation techniques
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
