**TAC Force**:
The TAC Force's goal is to give student-athletes access to the game of basketball. Basketball is the second most popular sport in the world. But gaining access to the game has always been a challenge to many enthusiastic basketball players, including fans of the game. TAC Force aims to help this issue by giving athletes an elevated experience of the game by providing special events and activities such as; workshops clinics, house leagues, and basketball camps.

TAC Force participants will learn basic to advanced skills while creating new friendships and having fun. We are a youth basketball academy dedicated to preparing athletes for the challenges faced on and off the court. As members of Basketball Ontario with years of experience, you can count on us to adhere to the highest standards in athleticism, coaching, and training. **Specific Responsibilities**:

- Lead, supervise, and promote the safety of all participants
- Prepare lessons, and lesson plans according to the required curriculum
- Teaching students using a variety of different techniques including discussions, visual demonstrations, guided discovery, and where possible physical manipulation.
- Nurture and develop all athlete's potential skills and abilities
- Evaluate student's progress and discuss results with students, parents, and the onsite coordinator
- Tracking student progress by filling out weekly report cards
- Participate in staff meetings and required training
- Motivate athletes to succeed
- Enforce safety rules and regulations
- Additional duties as prescribed

**Qualifications**
- Experience working with youth aged 13-16
- Background knowledge and experience in Basketball or other sports
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First aid and CPR C
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual - English/French is an asset

**Asset**:

- At least three years of experience in coaching camp
- National Coaching Certification Program Certificates and Training
- Valid G license and access to a vehicle. (OR eligibility to be insured under our Camp insurance policy)
- Certification in HIGH FIVE ®
- Behaviour Management Systems Training Currently

**Compensation**:
