Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North (OGN) has already partnered with nearly 60 families, including 121 children, in support of their access to safe, suitable, and affordable housing.
After OGN projects are initiated, the **Program Manager, Build Project Development and Advancement**, is responsible for developing and executing project plans; monitoring, supporting, and facilitating progress; influencing exceptional budget control; building and maintaining strong, relevant, and gainful relationships; regular project reporting to a variety of stakeholders, and evaluating project outcomes.
Reporting to the CEO, you are instrumental in ensuring that the OGN construction partners; the local community; government funding bodies; and the OGN team, including volunteers, are engaged in and excited about, OGN build projects. You do this in part by seeking input and providing regular progress updates in the most appropriate and appealing format to key stakeholders. Further, you encourage and support program gifts-in-kind to reduce project costs by working with OGN fundraising team members to ensure exceptional donor cultivation and stewardship.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Construction readiness and support (coordinate site assessment in relation to land acquisition opportunities; collaborate with and coordinate demands and input of planners, engineers, surveyors, municipal building officials and others to ensure main services connection ion readiness, site readiness, and permits are in place to break ground in accordance with project plans)
- Property portfolio management (ensure the condition of OGN title-held power-ties enhances the image and brand of OGN; inspect OGN title-held units as necessary; implement routine resident education sessions specific to home maintenance, management, care, and repair)
- Budget and financial management (create project budgets, both capital and operational; complete and deliver accurate and detailed build program financial planning and progress reporting in collaboration with the OGN Finance team, etc.)
- Stakeholder relationship management (staff, build program volunteers, major donors, government funding bodies, contractors, sub-trades, and the community in general)
- Event Coordination (support volunteers in planning and implementation of fundraising events; plan, organize and run groundbreaking events and key turning ceremonies etc.)
- Health and Safety (ensure compliance with all governmental health, safety, and environment (HSE) regulations; risk mitigation
- Project and milestone reporting (construction reports, funding data, energy efficiency, etc.)
- Administration (documentation of project data and compliance with government relations)
- Implementation of technical software and tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
**NOTE: THIS IS A REMOTE (WORK-FROM-HOME) POSITION BASED IN THE BRACEBRIDGE/GRAVENHURST AREA OF MUSKOKA. SOME TRAVEL WITHIN OUR AFFILIATE TERRITORY.**

This could be anywhere in our territory that we have a build project or partner families (Greater Sudbury, Simcoe County, North Simcoe, Tay and Tiny Townships, Muskoka Lakes, etc.).
