**Duties of the Job**:

- Follow part process specific work instructions and verbal directions to meet the required production schedule and quality requirements.
- Manually load and unload components into assembly cells.
- Create first-off / last-off parts.
- Complete quality inspections at predetermined intervals using calibrated fixtures and devices.
- Ensure only quality parts are accepted and notify supervision and quality of any quality related issues immediately
- Complete all necessary documentation, machine safety check sheets, validations, quality inspections, production reporting, etc.
- Operate the equipment in a safe manner consistent with the company policies, rules and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot mechanical problems to minimize downtime

**Employee Responsibilities**:

- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), as required.
- Work independently and take initiative.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
- Work in a professional and cooperative manner.
- Strong team player, able to interact with all levels within the organization.
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OSHA).
- Follow all Omex Manufacturing ULC company policies.
- Willingness to take additional training courses, as required.
- Achieve performance requirements in a responsible and economical manner.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Omex Manufacturing ULC Code of Conduct.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Record of reliability & dependability (quality, safety & attendance).
- Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
