**Position Details**
- Reporting to the Manager, Graduate Student Engagement, the SGS/ORIS Communications & Public Affairs Assistant manages content distribution on social media, TV signage, and newsletters for School of Graduate Studies (SGS) and Office of Research and Innovation Services (ORIS). This ensures information and deadlines are communicated to the student body.

The role also includes website maintenance for SGS and ORIS to update and share information like grant and award opportunities. The SGS/ORIS Communications & Public Affairs Assistant conducts interviews and gathers research stories from graduate students and faculty members to promote the University of Lethbridge’s research and graduate programs.

The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification review for Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) positions. As such, the classification level currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.

**Position Qualifications**
- Senior undergraduate in a program eligible for coop designation. This is a Co-op Student Position. Must be a currently registered student in a COOP program.
- Be familiar with a variety of social media platforms

**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $4,017.00 - $4,469.00 monthly

**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $4,017.00 - $4,921.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 8)
