Based in Wasaga Beach and Midland, _Georgian Bay PTS _ is a local company serving Central Ontario. - **POSITION**:_ - **CASUAL, Part time potential, **_ We are dedicated professionals with a "patient first attitude" and a commitment to your safety. PTS is a dynamic industry requiring a a high level of integrity and flexibility on your part. - **Job description**_ Primary Responsibilities Patient transfer attendants are responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair to and from a hospital, nursing home, or private residence. - **Requirements**:_ Ability to work independently with little direction with patients and staff at healthcare facilities in all departments. Ability to independently. or with facility staff, assist patients via stand by assist, one and two person pivot transfer, as well as repositioning. This is done via wheelchair up. down ramps, positionally in place as well as walking/ pushing for long periods of time. Patients can be over 250 lbs. Work within environments that have covid 19 other super bugs. ( PPE provided) Provide attention to detail with documentation. Must be able to work flexible hours including holidays and outside regular hours of operation, up to 13 hours in a shift. Possible calls and subsequent shifts are based on requested times by facilities at any time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and change daily. Day begins in Midland or Wasaga as directed by company and can change daily based on call volumes and flow. Ability to carry out daily maintenance, cleaning of company vehicles as directed. - **MUST HAVE / Mandatory **_ **-possess a **_**verifiable**_ **, infraction free and clean Ontario Drivers License for a minimum 6 plus years at the G level ( g1 and g2 are not part of the 6 years)** ***: - present a valid and current (within the last 30 days ) OPP criminal background check/ vunerable sector check.** **-Current up to date immunizations and records** Please forward resume and cover letter to include a list current valid documents as above. **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual **Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Flexible schedule - Tuition reimbursement Schedule: - On call Application question(s): - Do you have Patient Transfer experience?
