**NOW HIRING**:Collision Technician Apprentice

**LOCATION**:
Centennial Carstar Truro, Truro, NS

**HOURS**:
Full time, Permanent. Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week.

**WAGES**:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour (option for flat rate) + benefits. Negotiable based on experience.

**THE PERFECT FIT**:
**APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be enrolled in the apprenticeship program
- Possess basic knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs
- Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and capable of multitasking and prioritizing
- Physically capable (standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.)
- Reliable and shows initiative
- Must have a valid Canadian driver’s license

**MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prep cars for paint
- Small dent repairs
- Light body work
- Disassembling and reassembling vehicles
- Changing bolt-on parts (i.e., fenders, bumpers, etc.)
- Assist in detail bays when necessary
- Other duties as required
- Possession of own tools (specialty tools provided by the shop as needed).
