CP Distributors has a current opening for an ambitious **Project Coordinator **in our **Halifax **branch.

As a **Project Coordinator**, you will be responsible to:

- Look after the day-to-day responsibilities of the project and ensure timely communication to the project manager and team;
- Accurately prepare detailed shop drawings and schedules using architectural drawings and hardware detailing as per specifications;
- Coordinate project hardware, estimating, material, and quantity take-off;
- Manage the logistics of moving goods from the vendor to the General Contractor;
- Maintain ongoing communication with construction project managers and site superintendents;
- Monitor and report all information to the project manager regarding ordering, supply, progression, and coordination of products;
- Coordinate project documentation, change orders, technical drawings, progress claims, and quality control documentation in support of the project life cycle;
- Constantly update product knowledge;
- Provide exceptional communication, and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Take a proactive and professional approach to troubleshooting and have strong organizational abilities.

**Your Experience**:

- Ideally, you will bring a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the commercial construction or building supply industry;
- Foundational experience and knowledge of Division 8 and 10 scopes of work, specifically with building openings (doors, frames, and hardware) is considered a strong asset;
- Architectural technology background is considered an asset;
- CET designation and/or AHC credentials are considered an asset.
