This job is located at our corporate offices conveniently located on Lagimodiere just south of Marion

YOUR JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the General Manager, you will work cooperatively to prepare samples for further analysis. Help troubleshoot problems, be a leader motivator and innovator.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Perform laboratory analysis according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Operate laboratory instruments as required. ie. Ovens, furnaces, balances, centrifuges, etc.
- Scale and pipette calibration as required
- Sample preparation. ie. Grinding, weighing, etc.
- Reagent preparation
- Data processing. ie. Calculations, data review, data entry, etc.
- Ensure ongoing accuracy and technician quality by participating in a laboratory wide proficiency testing program

YOUR SKILLS
- No experience needed
- Organized and able to meet deadlines
- Incredible attention to detail
- Ideally has a knowledge of agriculture, science, food safety and animal nutrition
- Strong written and oral communication skills
