**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Conduct inspections of residential units at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with Branthaven quality standards & Tarion Guidelines.
- Construction Inspection #1 (pre-drywall) - CI1
- Construction Inspection #2 (post-drywall) - CI2
- Quality Assurance Inspection
- Pre Delivery Inspection

Completion of Kitchen Checkouts, Appliance Checkouts, and Heat Verification Testing etc.

Perform pre-delivery home orientations with new homeowners. Explaining the different functions and features within the home (including the electrical and mechanical systems such as the ventilation, plumbing and heating). Identify and document construction defects, missing items, non-conformities, and deviations from plans and specifications

Present thorough knowledge of all the printed material in the PDI folder.

Accurately communicate Tarion’s Warranty Processes and Ontario Building Code

Monitor and work directly with the supervisors ensure PDI items are completed and properly signed off in a timely manner.

Receive, direct, and respond to all modes of customer contact with consistent follow-up on all matters/queries received until the point of resolution.

Home unit closeouts/occupancy duties include: scheduling key pick up, distribution of keys/welcome home gifts, smart one system set-up, walkthrough of all amenity spaces..

Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with homeowners, providing accurate answers, following up on commitments, and creating a positive experience during every interaction.

Review customer satisfaction surveys, support customer advocate programs and ensure the best customer experience for homeowners for PDI Item Completion and across all touchpoints.

Participate in Branthaven Homeowner Events.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
A minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a PDI Representative or Warranty Coordinator

A strong understanding of TARION Construction Guidelines & Warranty Program

Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and reports. This will include architectural specifications and drawings, interior design drawings and specifications, upgrade schedules.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, knowledge of NewStar or Builderlynx a bonus

Ability to work in a fast paced environment while managing expectations and providing a first class customer care experience

Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of constituents both in verbal and written manner.

Must have own vehicle and a valid Ontario Driver’s License.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
