Renovation Professional

**Overview**
Blue Planet Properties is a tight-knit crew of 5 looking for an experienced tradesperson who can handle multiple trades and knows their way around residential and commercial jobs, inside and out. We need someone who can take a job from start to finish without needing their hand held.

**Core Trades (Must Have Solid Experience)**:

- **Tiling**: Full bathroom and kitchen installs, outdoor patios, custom layouts
- **Drywall**: Hanging, taping, mudding, texture matching, and patching
- **Flooring**: Hardwood, vinyl, laminate installs and transitions
- **Painting**: Interior and exterior, brush and spray, cutting-in, trim work
- **Blueprint reading**: Able to work from plans
- **Job estimating**: Look at a job and know how many hours/days it'll take you

**Additional Skills We Need**:

- Finish carpentry, trim, and millwork
- Exterior work: siding, fascia, soffit, deck repairs
- Basic electrical and plumbing
- Framing and structural work
- Commercial reno experience (TIs, office build-outs)
- Building envelope and waterproofing
- Stucco and concrete work (really nice to have)

**You Need**:

- 5+ years doing renos (residential/commercial, inside/outside work)
- **Able to estimate time needed for jobs - we need people who know their pace**:

- Can read blueprints and work from plans
- Your own hand tools and basic power tools
- Driver's license and reliable truck/van
- Good with ladders and heights
- Can pass background check

**Bonus Points**:

- Concrete experience
- Specialty tools
- Experience running subs
- Safety tickets (fall protection, etc.)
- Run your own jobs before

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Drywall: 5 years (preferred)
