**About Us**

Red Wireless is a leading retailer in the wireless communication industry, operating multiple store locations across Saskatchewan and Manitoba and serving consumers and businesses nationwide via ecommerce initiatives.

**Role Responsibilities**

In this position, you will work closely with the Controller and as a part of the accounting team on all the business’s accounting functions in Quickbooks Online, including:

- Entering bills and credit card charges
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit card accounts
- GL and intercompany account reconciliation
- General journal entries
- Supporting other team members with projects on an as needed basis.
- Some accounting experience is necessary - if your current title is junior A/P clerk or junior A/R clerk or junior bookkeeper, that's a great foundation to build from. If you're an Office Assistant or Receptionist but you often post bills or run cheques, that's also a great foundation.
- Experience with either Microsoft Office or the Google Workspace environment.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team-environment.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- A professional and ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Willingness to learn and desire to continuously improve your skill set.
- Previous experience with Quickbooks or Quickbooks Online is an asset, but experience on other computerized accounting platforms will be considered.
