Currently hiring for**:Delivery Driver Helpers **in Deer Lake, NL.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with driver to offload and deliver products to customer location in safe and timely manner
- Open back doors for driver as they back into loading doors and assist in other equipment set-up
- Act as an external spotter for drivers during backing-up **at all times**:

- Assist in the check off all customer orders at time of delivery
- As required, assist in the completion all paperwork and return to office at days end
- Support drivers with communication to customers as needed always conducting business in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Standards
- Demonstrate regular attendance
- Communicate with Transportation Supervisor/Manager of any questions/issues/problems endured
- All other related duties as assigned
- **Shift is Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays (overnight), and Thursdays**

**Required Qualifications**:

- Strong work ethic
- Self-starter and positive attitude
- Steel-toed boots required
- Safety vest required (provided)
- Clean certificate of conduct & 2 work related references
- Must be eligible to work in Canada

‪Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift; at times, product weight may reach above 50 lbs. Requires the ability to move heavy product with assistance

Must have the ability to stand, walk and / or move about for extended periods of time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
