New Line Skateparks is a full-service planning, design and construction firm specializing in the development of integrated concrete skateparks, pump tracks and other progressive action sport environments. As one of North America's longest running and most experienced providers of large scale municipal skatepark construction services - serving as the General Contractor on a significant portion of the ~400 projects completed by our team. Whether it be complete turnkey project solutions or specialty build services, we are recognized as a global leader in the development of site-built concrete skatepark construction technology and practices.

We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced construction estimator to join our team to assist with preparing Canada and US project estimates from concept to submission under the direct supervision of our construction management team.

**Key Attributes**:

- Experienced construction knowledge in the fields of concrete, formwork, welding, civil earthworks, landscaping
- Proficient in understanding site plans
- Knowledgeable of project estimation, budgeting and data entry
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal project teams, vendors and subcontractors
- Time and schedule management
- Written and verbal communications

**Specific responsibilities**:

- Analyze plan sets, project specifications, proposals and other documents to support project planning
- Quantity takeoffs from plan set details
- Prepare preliminary estimates for planning purposes, and detailed estimates based on final plan sets and specifications
- Support Project Manager and Coordinator, consultations with clients, vendors and other project stakeholders to discuss and formulate informed estimates and resolve issues
- Develop and support regional vendor and subcontractor relationships to have key partners for use on future projects
- Maintain current and accurate information on regional pricing from suppliers
- Assess regional projects historical financial data to inform future project development
- Support and develop subcontractor scope of work summaries, schedules and analyze quotes to make project recommendations to PMs
- Support the preparation of bid packages, estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids for projects of any size and complexity
- Participate in the construction project bidding process as required
