Sales and Events Coordinator

**Role Description**
**Responsibilities**:
- Work directly with Sales & Events Managers.
- Organizing the administrative side of the sales process.
- Actively assist in responding to and handling event inquiries.
- Assist in arranging and conducting site tours of the resort.
- Assist with the execution of the event planning tasks for client and internal events including, but not limited to creating estimates, contracts, rental orders, coordinating with vendors and updating internal software.
- Onsite presence at key events to ensure smooth operation.
- Participate in pre-event meetings with group meeting planners as required, and internal pre
- and post-event meetings.
- Performing regular walk-throughs in all setup function space to ensure full compliance with standards.
- Assist in managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organizing vendors.
- Keep track of event finances such as event payments and invoicing.
- Assist in the development & execution of Social Media Marketing
- Assist in the design of Sales & Marketing collateral.
- Other duties and tasks assigned by management.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or event coordination
- Familiarity with the specific industry or market the company operates in.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated sales experience, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
- Experience in managing budgets for events and sales activities.
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
