Reporting directly to the **Kidco Kitchen Operations Manager** this position assists with the coordination of Kidco Kitchen operations to meet the uphold and exceed the high level of service required for our Kids & Company child care services. At Kids & Company, we strive to achieve our mission statement: to provide the highest quality primary and back up childcare services conveniently located near our children’s parents place of work. We aim to assist corporations in creating a healthy work/life balance.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Supports the day-to-day functioning of the Kidco Kitchen department by providing high quality administrative support to the Chief Food Ambassador and the Kidco Kitchen Operations Manager
- Analyzes operational costs
- Coordinates and prepares correspondence, including notices, event summaries and menu packages for distribution across the country
- Communication with suppliers, blog writing, uploading website material and maintaining accurate databases
- Manages and updates organizational charts, internal calendars, databases, cost tracking reports, petty cash allowances and all other related documents
- Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time on the needs of the department
- Any ad hoc duties required by the Kidco Kitchen Operations Manager

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Successful completion of a Diploma or Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to listen and respond appropriately to client, children and staff needs, as well as communicate with tact and diplomacy
- Exceptional organization skills to prioritize workload in order to achieve results in a constantly changing environment
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Possession of excellent mathematical and accounting skills
- Must be able to design and accomplish accurate record keeping
- High energy level with a strong work ethic
- Current driver’s license (preferred)
- Food industry related experience or certification an asset
