This position will be working directly with the Maintenance and Project Managers as well as other Pipefitters completing layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance and repairing piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.

This position is based in Calgary on our client site. _**
**_These opportunities are expected to start in November for a few weeks._**:

**What would you be doing?**
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
- Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation, as required.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position.
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Ability to do careful and exacting work
- Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to client site
- CSTS-2020 (online)

**Perks of the job**
- Competitive employee and direct service provider (DSP) rates
- $60.00/day for travel if local
- LOA: $165/day if over 120 km from home residence

**Other important details**
- This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing._
