What to Expect

What You’ll Do
- Receive, verify, inspect, count, and stock materials according to procedure

Load and unload materials onto or from carts/pallets/racks, for movement or storage, by hand or using equipment

Dispatch/transfer/deliver/return material from warehouse to production floor, office area, or other areas of the factory

Maintain accurate and detailed material records and logs

Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory counts

Perform routine inspection of material needs in different areas of the factory

During business hours, respond to calls and inquiries concerning materials, shipping, receiving or other logistics related activities

Maintain good housekeeping and proper safety practices in work area

Maintain close adherence to warehouse safety standards (e.g., PPE, proper conveyance equipment etiquette, etc.)

What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, and prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred

Valid driver license for the province of Ontario

Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to regularly climb and reach

Able to stand or walk for most of the scheduled shift

Flexibility to be assigned additional duties as needed

Experience operating a counterbalance type fork lift preferred

Able to plan, organize and manage multiple projects with competing demands and deadlines

Basic computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word

Prior experience accurately completing data entry into ERP system desired

Ability to operate, pallet jacks, or dollies as appropriate

Work as a team player, interacting with employees of all levels in different areas of the factory

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Excellent customer service skills required

Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required

Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
